Thing 20-Podcast
I was very disappointed the first time when I tried to use this tool. I thought that if it was that hard to gain access to ---chances are I never would use it. I was so wrong!!!!!! I just listened to a podcast "A Conversation with Hip Hop's Pioneers", given at Cornell University in 2009, and it was wonderful. I can see this tool being very useful in FPL.

Thing 23- Reflections
HAL-LE-LU-JAH!!!!!!! All right now!! I have FINALLY completed this!!!! I feel like I have just given birth----- to a SUPERUSER!
When I first started this long process, I felt as if "Scotty" had "beamed me up". I was in a world that was totally new me. Now, I must tell you -- I do know something about numbers. I know: 3- makes me think of Dale Earnhardt, 31-makes me think of Baskin Robbins, 35-makes me think of my Weight Watcher points, any number followed by six zeros- makes me think of RETIREMENT, and now 23 makes me think of all the internet tools I have learned to use from this class.
I have to say, there were some "STUDS" and "DUDS" mixed in these things. My favorite new things (that I never used before) are Flickr and Library Things. These two things are tools that I have used EVERYDAY since learning about them! The "DUDS" for me would be all the other "things", because I personally won't use them after today.

Thing 9-Delicious
Well, I FINALLY figured out how to use this tool (I think). I don't really think I would use this tool very often. I say this because I feel some bookmarks are for home use and others are for work.

I finally got a chance to see this application in action. My daughter was working with a group for a school project. She showed me how she was able to share her portion of the document with the others and they could make changes if necessary.

Thing 22- User Choice
I have decided that Flickr is my favorite "thing" --- while doing this project. It was neck and neck between this and library things but this site won. The pics are AMAZING!! I am very fond of anything dealing with Buffalo Soldiers---and the pictures of these brave men brought tears to my eyes. LOVED IT!!!!!

Just finished 21-----now I'm almost done!!!!
I have looked up various people/things using Wikipedia, but I'm very leery of this website. I don't really trust that the information shown is TOTALLY accurate. I found the different views of the restaurants provided by the staff very helpful.
